Pet Pals: Fabulous Fish

John Kramer is Fantasy Art’s CFO and VP – and Ryan’s best friend. He lives on the coast and loves the ocean; sailing is one of his passions and a way for him to de-stress. With a demanding career, he needs to relax when he’s home. I picture John not having dogs or cats or even birds, but a fabulous fish tank!

I saw a tank in a NY Times article (five figures – yep, for a darn fish tank, and that’s not including the fish) but well, I figure John can afford it. 🙂

Fish have never lasted long in our family. But dogs, regular fixture in the house.
Have you ever watched the show Tanked on Animal Planet? Like watching how those huge tanks are designed and made.

I had fish while I was growing up, but it’s a toss up between dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs and 5 cats. lol. My black cat, Ruby, has to be my fav though.

It’s really hard to choose just one “favorite” pet-at my age I’ve
had MANY,MANY pets. 🙂 My little Basenji girl was the “worst”-we
were always trying to prove which one of us was the boss…really!
I miss her a lot-she really kept me on my toes.

I had two goldfish when I was little…one promptly died, but the other one lived for quite a few years after. Then again, I could never tell, because he used to play dead continually. I’d start crying because I’d see him belly-up in the bowl, and then bring my mom in only to find him swimming happily again a few minutes later. I got used to it after a while. Sort of…

Oh, man, It’s hard to think of one favorite pet.
I’ve had so many animals throughout my life so far… Ducks, Chickens, Birds, Rabbits, Pigeon’s, Cats, Dogs, Fishes…. I swear at one point we had so many Chickens and Ducks we were a freaking farm!! lol…
sadly though, we had to move and gave away all our chickens and ducks. And along all the moves, our cats ran away or we gave them to another loving family… (This made me cry. But I was small still so I couldn’t do anything about it)

Anyways, now we have a dog, and though I love her to bits I think my favorite pet will always be a Cat. It’s the first pet I can remember having and I think will always be my favorite, holding a special place in my heart, no matter how many pets I get in the future. lol…

Wow, I can’t just pick one pet.
We have lots of fish and they are very relaxing to watch, but nothing as nice as the aquarium you posted! 🙂
We have a dog and she thinks she is the center of the universe, and we all let her keep thinking that.
And we used to have a cat and I still miss him.

I’ve had all kinds of animals in my life and it’s hard to choose, but my favorite pet is a domestic rat, one named Fivel to be exact. He’d take naps with me, give me kisses and groom me, he’d come when I called him, and lots of others cool things. He was my best friend and I still miss him every day.
